Please Support Our Supporters

Literacy Volunteers on the Green survives on the generous donations and support that we receive from our local community members and businesses. The people and businesses shown in this document have supported us by placing an ad in our annual LVG Gala Program booklet.
We encourage you to support those who support LVG by patronizing these businesses.

Every dollar we receive allows us to train more tutors and buy the indispensable textbooks that our students need. Both of these resources are the cornerstones of our program and of increasing language literacy in our community.

As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, your donations to Literacy Volunteers on the Green are tax-deductible. To make a donation, click the Donate button on the left side of this page or make your check payable to “Literacy Volunteers on the Green” and mail it to our office at 7 Whittlesey Avenue; P.O. Box 366; New Milford, CT 06776. You will receive a thank you letter in return detailing your donation.

Thank you so much for your support. Contact us for further information.

Senator Clark Chapin nominated Literacy Volunteers on the Green for the donation and was on hand to welcome the announcement. “It is important that individuals master the English language to succeed in any career,” said Senator Chapin. “Literacy is a problem for many individuals in Connecticut, and Literacy Volunteers on the Green tackles the issue head on. I applaud AT&T for making this generous donation in support of such a vital local organization.”
